Arend Van Der Hoven, a 50-year-old man from Sarasota, Florida, went missing on July 8, 2012, while boating off the coast of Marathon, Florida. Known to friends as "Arnie," Van Der Hoven was last seen leaving the Blackfin Marina at 8:00 a.m. aboard his 21-foot center console boat.
