Brandon Lawson, a 26-year-old father of four, disappeared under mysterious circumstances on August 8, 2013. That evening, he had a heated argument with his longtime girlfriend, Ladessa Lofton, at their home in San Angelo, Texas. In an attempt to cool off, Brandon left his home around 11:55 p.m. to drive to his father’s house in Crowley, Texas. However, at around 12:30 a.m. on August 9, Brandon ran out of gas on Highway 277 near Bronte, Texas.
He called his brother, Kyle, asking for help, and during the conversation, Brandon claimed that he was being chased by unknown individuals.
Shortly after this call, Brandon made a frantic 911 call at 12:50 a.m., reporting that he was stranded and being pursued by someone. Despite the confusing nature of the call, he urgently requested police assistance, stating that someone was chasing him into the woods. When his brother and a sheriff's deputy arrived at his truck around 1:10 a.m., Brandon was nowhere to be found, though he reportedly told Kyle he could see him.
Brandon's truck was found parked haphazardly on the side of the road with its gas tank empty, but there were no signs of a struggle or foul play at the scene. Over the years, multiple searches were conducted in the area, but Brandon remained missing for nearly a decade. In 2022, human remains were found near the location where Brandon was last seen, and while DNA results are still pending, his family believes the remains are his, bringing some closure to this long-standing mystery.Last Seen: Aug 8, 2013
