Jason Jeffers, a 19-year-old Army private, was last seen on November 5, 1992, at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He was observed walking away from the barracks at around 9 p.m., carrying a compact disc player. Witnesses reported seeing him walking either from the mailroom to the barracks or heading toward the Base Exchange. At the time of his disappearance, Jeffers was wearing cut-off shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals.
