A journey to America for love and marriage ended in unimaginable tragedy for 22-year-old Leafil Alforque on November 29, 2008, in Neskowin, Oregon. A native of the Philippines, she had arrived in the United States just three days earlier to join her fiancï , Scott Napper. The couple, who had met online in 2005, planned to marry on December 6th.
