Leafil Alforque, 22, was last seen on November 29, 2008, at Proposal Rock near Neskowin Beach, Oregon. She had recently arrived in the U.S. from the Philippines to visit her fiancé, Scott Napper, whom she had met online in 2005. The couple planned to marry soon after her arrival. On the day she went missing, Napper had taken her to Proposal Rock to present her with an engagement ring.
