In the spring of 2013, 33-year-old Brandon Steve Williams embarked on a cross-country journey that would mysteriously end in his disappearance. On May 17, 2013, he boarded a Greyhound bus in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the intention of returning to his home in Key West, Florida. The following day, May 18th, Williams made contact with both his best friend and his roommate, confirming his location in Nashville, Tennessee. It was during this stop in Nashville that his sister wired him money, which he successfully received. He then purchased a bus ticket to continue his trip to Key West. This was the last confirmed communication from Brandon Williams. Despite having a ticket for the next leg of his journey, Brandon Williams never boarded the bus scheduled to depart from Nashville to Key West. When the bus arrived in Key West on May 20, 2013, he was not on it, and he has not been seen or heard from since. At the time he vanished, Williams was carrying approximately $150 in cash and did not have a cell phone. His case is made more concerning by the fact that he has epilepsy and was without the necessary medication. Distinctive features include scars on his upper lip and scalp from a childhood dog bite, a previously broken nose, and one index finger being shorter than the other. He also has several tattoos: marijuana leaves on his upper back, a scorpion on his left calf, and a blue star under his left arm. The investigation into Brandon Williams's disappearance faced a significant delay. His sister initially reported him missing in Ephraim, Utah, where she resided. It wasn't until April 2015, nearly two years after he was last heard from, that the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department was officially notified and opened an investigation. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, leaving his family with many unanswered questions and deep concern for his safety. The overview of the case suggests a man on a long-distance bus trip who made a planned stop, communicated with loved ones, and had the means to continue his journey, yet vanished without a trace from Nashville, Tennessee. His case remains an active and unsolved missing person investigation.
