On 11/30/2025, bystanders notified the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) of a human skull that was found in a field near 151 N 1st Street in Nashville, TN. MNPD and the Davidson County Medical Examiner's Office (DCMEO) responded to the scene and initiated a search in the surrounding area. Additional human remains were found in the surrounding area, along with an apparent encampment. The remains were transported to the DCMEO for examination.
