John Clyde Perrin, a 25-year-old recent Stanford Law School graduate, was last seen on June 23, 1970, in Menlo Park, California. Perrin, known for being a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War, had been convicted for refusing induction into the armed forces, and his case was under appeal at the time of his disappearance.
