Walter Lominsky, a 67-year-old Army veteran, disappeared on June 9, 1983, from North Bergen, New Jersey. That morning, he left his home on Granton Avenue to run errands, driving a rented 1983 Mercury Zephyr. He was last seen purchasing a newspaper at Wella's Candy Store after grocery shopping at a nearby Pathmark on Tonnelle Avenue.
