Unknown white male was spotted in water next to the "Peking" ship at Pier 17/South Street Seaport, attempting to swim to shore. Witnesses attempted to retrieve him from the water, but he went under. NYPD Emergency Services responded, and decedent re-surfaced a couple of hours later.
