Barry Vincent Rodden, a 41-year-old man, went missing on August 27, 2000, while scuba diving near Pasco Reef, close to Anclote Key off the coast of Holiday, Florida. He was on a diving trip with his girlfriend, nephew, and three sons when he failed to surface after a dive. Despite extensive search efforts in the surrounding waters, no trace of Rodden was ever found.
Although his disappearance occurred while diving, authorities suspect foul play and do not believe that Rodden drowned.
