Benjamin Salazar Puebla, age 31, was last seen on August 23, 2009. He was crossing the border near Carrizo Springs, Texas, with a group of migrants guided by a smuggler. At some point during the journey, Puebla was left behind near a ranch with water wells, and he has not been seen or heard from since. Few details have emerged about his disappearance, and despite efforts to locate him, his case remains unresolved.
