Robert Roach, a 39-year-old man from Mackinac Island, Michigan, was last seen on February 11, 2011. Roach left Mackinac Island on a snowmobile, intending to travel across the Straits of Mackinac to St. Ignace. Tragically, he never arrived, and there has been no trace of him or his snowmobile since that day. The weather and freezing conditions at the time added to the complexity of the search, with concerns that he may have fallen through the ice.
