Frank Garcia, a 35-year-old man from Houston, Mississippi, was last seen on February 16, 1994. At the time of his disappearance, Garcia was walking along Highway 8 West, carrying two garbage bags filled with clothing, a 19-inch television, and a box of important papers. His family reported him missing a week later when he failed to collect two paychecks from his workplace and missed seeing his daughters on Valentine’s Day, an occasion he had never missed before.
Garcia's disappearance occurred during a period of separation from his wife, who provided conflicting stories to the authorities. In one account, she said that when she returned home from picking up her daughter from church, Garcia was gone. In another version, she claimed that he had left voluntarily with his belongings. Despite these conflicting reports, none of the items Garcia supposedly took with him were ever found. Garcia was a dedicated father and an active presence in his children's lives, making his sudden disappearance particularly suspicious.
No hard evidence of foul play has been discovered, but Garcia’s case remains open and unsolved.
