Shirley Ann Carpenter Trapp, age 45, was last seen on August 26, 2004, at her residence on George Street in Peoria, Illinois. She lived with her boyfriend at the time. Shirley, a diabetic, had a distinctive appearance, including a scar between her eyes and a surgical scar from her collarbone to her navel. Her disappearance raised alarms because she had stayed in close contact with her children and it was unlike her to leave the Peoria area without reaching out.
