Stacey Jane Morrison, a 23-year-old woman from Peoria, Illinois, was last seen on May 20, 1993. She had been released from jail that evening after being incarcerated for prostitution. Stacey had planned to spend the night at a local YWCA but had to wait until 10:00 p.m. to enter the shelter. During this time, she expressed fear of a person who had previously threatened her, stating that she needed to make money as a prostitute or face violence.
