In the late summer of 2005, a 27-year-old mother named Jamie Jo Travis vanished from the streets of Peoria, Illinois. She was last seen on August 30, 2005, at the Taft Homes public housing complex. Jamie, who also used the last name Wolgemuth, was a mother whose family described her as a cherished daughter.
