Glen Walls Missing Person Case

Glen Allen Walls, a 17-year-old U.S. Air Force Airman, was reported missing on November 8, 1972, after he failed to appear for his assigned duties at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. An investigation into his disappearance revealed that he was last seen on October 10, 1972. At the time of his disappearance, Walls was described as a white male, standing at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 143 pounds. He had brown hair and a notable scar over his right eye. His eye color has been recorded as either brown, or as having one brown eye and one gray eye.

Authorities believe Walls may have departed from the air force base of his own volition and might have been in the company of another airman, 19-year-old Steven W. Barnhill. It was reported that they had informed others of their intention to go on a trip, although their exact destination was not specified. Possible locations they may have intended to visit included the Highwood Mountains, Kings Hill, or the Holter Dam. There is also a possibility that they may have traveled to Canada.

Walls may have been driving a tan 1966 Volkswagen with the Montana license plate number 2-57963. Despite efforts by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, all attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful. His case remains an active missing persons investigation.
