Robert Perruquet, aged 25, was last seen on April 29, 1989, in Daly City, California. He disappeared under suspicious circumstances, and his case is now considered a suspected homicide. On the day of his disappearance, Perruquet was reported missing after failing to meet with his girlfriend and not returning home. His 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was later found abandoned in San Francisco, near the Brisbane border. The vehicle had been stripped, its interior and trunk were found bloody, and it appeared to have been repainted.
Investigations in later years revealed that Perruquet may have been killed for his car parts. In 2005, one of the suspects confessed to the crime, stating that Perruquet was shot, and his body was disposed of along a steep section of State Route 92. Despite these admissions, Perruquet’s remains have never been found, and authorities believe he was murdered the day he went missing.
