In the spring of 2008, a 39-year-old man named Hector Alfredo Torres-Lopez vanished while undertaking a journey from Mexico into the United States. He was last seen on May 1, 2008, in the border town of Nogales, Arizona, a location in Santa Cruz County. At the time of his disappearance, Hector was described as a Hispanic and/or White/Caucasian male, standing at approximately 4'11' and weighing 178 pounds.
