In the summer of 2010, a 30-year-old man named Jesus Romo Trujillo vanished under harrowing circumstances in the Arizona desert. On August 2, 2010, he was with a group attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border near Nogales, Arizona. For a week, their journey continued until an encounter with the U.S. Border Patrol on August 9th. The sudden chase caused the group to panic and scatter in different directions. In the ensuing chaos, Trujillo and another man managed to evade immediate capture.
