Michael O'Brien, aged 55, went missing on the evening of December 28, 2014, from Greenport, New York. That night, he quietly left his home around 7:20 p.m. without giving any indication of distress or conflict. He left behind his phone, wallet, and other personal belongings in his unlocked truck, which was later discovered parked at the Cross Sound Ferry terminal in Orient Point.
