In the winter of 2019, a sense of concern began to grow in a Syracuse, New York community regarding the whereabouts of 60-year-old Robert Boyer. He was last seen on the evening of January 16, 2019, at approximately 9:50 PM, leaving his residence in the 1600 block of East Genesee Street on foot. His departure was unusual as he left behind his cell phone and any necessary medication, raising immediate flags for those who knew him.
