On March 16, 2024, a violent tragedy unfolded in the Broad Ripple entertainment district of Indianapolis, Indiana, claiming the life of 36-year-old Black male Timothy Randall Brown Jr. Known to his friends and family as Tim, Brown was working as an employee at the Landsharks nightclub located on Broad Ripple Avenue when a dispute erupted inside the crowded venue during the early morning hours.
