Jeffrey Rumsey, a 39-year-old man from Big Flats, New York, went missing on February 14, 2017, after fleeing a traffic stop near Minier’s Park. Following a police pursuit, he was seen heading toward the Chemung River. Troopers observed him entering the river but did not witness him exiting. Despite extensive search efforts, including a state police K-9 unit, no trace of Jeffrey has been found.
