Lelena Lipp, an 18-year-old woman, was last seen on December 26, 1995, while moving a boat with her boyfriend from Falmouth, Maine, to Portland. The two were reportedly near Clapboard Island, possibly checking lobster traps, when either Lelena or her boyfriend fell overboard, and the other attempted to save them. The boat was later found circling off Peaks Island, but Lelena was missing. Her boyfriend's body was recovered later, but despite extensive search efforts, Lelena was never found.
