On the morning of September 25, 2017, a tragic event unfolded in a Detroit neighborhood, forever altering the lives of a local family. Deantai Box, a 32-year-old man, was fatally shot in the driveway of his home on Ohio Street. The incident occurred at approximately 7:20 a.m. as he was selflessly attending to a terminally ill friend.
