Box, the recent proprietor of the 'Something Unique' floral shop in Southfield, had stepped outside to retrieve a wheelchair for his friend when he was
gunned down. Witnesses reported hearing someone say 'no' three times, followed by the sound of multiple gunshots. A friend inside the house at the time heard Box plead, 'Please stop' or 'Please don't,' before the fatal shots were fired.
