Deantai Box, a 32-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, was tragically murdered on September 25, 2017. The incident occurred early in the morning around 7:20 AM in the 18000 block of Ohio Street, near Wyoming and Curtis. Deantai was fatally shot in his driveway as he stepped outside to retrieve a wheelchair for a terminally ill friend who was staying with him. Witnesses reported hearing someone say "no" three times, followed by several gunshots.
