Maurice Gipson, a 41-year-old man from Haynesville, Louisiana, has been missing since July 2, 2012. On the day of his disappearance, which was also his birthday, Gipson left his residence on Glass Creek Road in Claiborne Parish, intending to walk to the town of Haynesville. He has not been seen or heard from since that day. Authorities have noted that Gipson may sometimes spell his last name as "Gibson."
