On a crisp autumn day, November 22, 1980, 23-year-old Timothy David Carrico embarked on what should have been a routine hunting trip in northern Wisconsin. He departed from his home in Waukesha, driving his distinctive yellow 1975 Chevrolet Vega two-door hatchback. The last confirmed sighting of Timothy was in Ladysmith, a city in Rusk County.
