In the autumn of 2014, a profound sense of unease settled over a family in Columbia, South Carolina, with the disappearance of 55-year-old Montey Donnell Thomas, affectionately known as 'Duke'. The last confirmed sighting of Montey was on November 20, 2014, at a local establishment on Bluff Road, then known as Rickenbacher's Bait and Tackle Party Shop.
