Rickisha "Kisha" Renee Bear, a 19-year-old Indigenous woman, was last seen on February 4, 2024, in Pablo, Montana. An enrolled member of the Chippewa Cree Indians of the Rocky Boy's Reservation, she was visiting friends on the Flathead Indian Reservation at the time of her disappearance. Just before she went missing, Rickisha had expressed a desire to get help for her substance abuse issues, and a friend had scheduled an appointment for her.
However, she left the friend's residence during the night before the appointment was to take place and has not been seen or heard from since. Although she had a history of dropping out of sight, she had never been gone for such an extended period, which caused her family to grow concerned.
Rickisha's family officially reported her missing on March 26, 2024. Her mother had previously posted on Facebook on February 7, 2024, seeking information about her daughter's whereabouts. The case is classified as an endangered missing person. Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in the investigation, including the Missoula Police Department, Chippewa Cree Law Enforcement Services, the Flathead Police Department, and the Lake County Sheriff's Office. In the course of the investigation, a phone that may belong to Rickisha was discovered buried in mud north of Columbia Falls and is being analyzed by police. While there have been some reported sightings in Great Falls and Billings, none have been confirmed.
At the time she went missing, Rickisha was described as being between 4'10" and 5'0" tall and weighing between 120 and 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her hair was dyed bright red with dark roots showing. She has several distinct physical features, including metal orthodontic braces, piercings in both ears, and a silver stud in her right nostril. Rickisha also has tattoos, including the words "Baby Girl" on her upper left chest near her collarbone and another tattoo on the right side of her neck.
