Roselyn Pereira, an 11-year-old girl, was last seen on January 25, 2017, in Hialeah, Florida. She, along with her siblings Lester Jr. and Briana, was abducted by her non-custodial parents, Rosa Martinez and Lester Pereira Sr. The abduction occurred after authorities from the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) were set to gain custody of the children. It is believed that the family may have fled to Nicaragua in an effort to avoid custody proceedings.
Roselyn was described as a Hispanic girl with black hair and brown eyes, though some sources mentioned that her hair might have been dyed blonde. The children were bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Despite numerous efforts to locate the family, including involving law enforcement and issuing alerts, their whereabouts remain unknown. The case is still open, and authorities encourage anyone with information to come forward.
