Sarah Zambrano, age 81, was last seen on May 9, 2002, in Hialeah, Florida. She was living with her daughter, Margarita Tache, at the time of her disappearance. Both women vanished without a trace and have not been heard from since. Sometime after the disappearance, Tache's husband confessed to authorities in Colombia that he had murdered Margarita and disposed of her body in a dumpster, though neither her body nor Sarah’s has ever been recovered.

The case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to investigate, urging anyone with information to come forward. Both women are still listed as missing, with foul play strongly suspected. Investigators have yet to uncover sufficient evidence to locate them or bring closure to the case.
