LaRece Simone Hawkins, a 24-year-old woman, disappeared on May 28, 2018, while aboard the Norwegian cruise ship *Escape*. The ship was approximately 80 nautical miles east of Atlantic City, New Jersey, when she was last seen. Authorities believe LaRece went overboard, and despite search efforts, she has not been found. Her case is classified as a "lost/injured missing" case, and it is suspected that she may have gone into the ocean during the cruise.
