Clare Faulkner Ales, a 78-year-old woman, was last seen on January 14, 1991, in Batesville, Mississippi. Ales was spotted walking near her home on Kyle Road at around 11:00 a.m. that day. When her postal carrier noticed her mailbox filling up by January 19, local authorities were notified. Upon investigating her home, police found no signs of a struggle or theft.
