On May 10, 1992, three-year-old Kreneice Jones vanished alongside two-year-old Lamoine Allen in Woodville, Mississippi. Both toddlers were last seen playing near the Jimmy Jackson Grocery Store while their families attended a Mother's Day gathering. Despite extensive searches involving local law enforcement and volunteers, neither child has been found. Witnesses reported seeing an unidentified blue compact car with chrome hubcaps and dark-tinted windows near the store, but authorities were unable to link it definitively to the case.
At the time of her disappearance, Kreneice was wearing a multicolored one-piece outfit with a polka-dot tie and pink sandals. She also had a surgical scar in front of her right ear. Though several leads surfaced over the years, including one suggesting that Kreneice may have been mistakenly swapped with another child, none have provided concrete answers. Both families still hope for their return, and age-progressed photos have been circulated in attempts to generate new leads.
The disappearance remains one of Mississippi’s enduring unsolved cases. Authorities continue to encourage anyone with information to come forward.
