Rita Navarra Stants, a 20-year-old woman, was last seen around January 1, 1983, in the Gulfport/Biloxi area of Mississippi. Originally from the Philippines, she had recently moved to the United States with her husband, a member of the U.S. Navy. Stants had made plans to visit her sister in Dallas, Texas, but she never arrived. It is unclear whether she ever left the Gulfport area, as no one has seen or heard from her since that time.
