Bones found in June 2002 (ML02-0984) by rancher in shallow grave, west of Silverbell Mine Road in remote desert area; grave marked with small pile of stones and two sticks tied into a cross with a shoelace; clothing and several backpacks scattered in the area. A right femur was found on 21SEP05 by BLM clean-up crew and accessioned as PCOME case ML05-1785. Both accessions were located near one another in a remote desert area. DNA analyses linked the two accessions.
