In the early morning hours of 03/06/05 an individual had been walking through the transient encampments along the San Diego River parallel with Camino de la Reina. Under the Highway 163 overpass at Camino de la Reina the individual located a lidded plastic bucket with a rock on top of it. He opened the bucket and pulled out a plastic bag. He carried the plastic bag away from the bucket. Using his knife he cut open the bag and found a human skull inside and contracted SDPD.
