On June 8, 2014 the skeletal remains of an unidentified individual were exhumed from Sacred Heart Cemetery in Brooks County, TX by Baylor University, and given the case designation 0499. It is unknown where these remains were originally found, or when they were interred in Sacred Heart Cemetery as no grave marker or documents are associated with the remains. On July 19, 2016 the remains were transferred to the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State University for anthropological analysis.
