Miriam Diaz, 35, was last seen on August 18, 2011, near Falfurrias, Texas. Miriam was part of a group that had traveled from Veracruz, Mexico, in hopes of reaching the United States. After crossing the river near Reynosa, they rested in McAllen for a day. On August 16, 2011, the group continued their journey, walking through difficult terrain toward the interior of Texas.
