In a tragic turn of events on June 6, 2016, 17-year-old Kymici Brown was fatally shot in a home in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue in Annapolis, Maryland. Brown, a student at Broadneck High School where she was a member of the track team, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
