The Decedent was found in a wooded area near Wilder Avenue and South Beach Street in Daytona Beach, FL, by a passerby looking for their pet. The remains were found located near a charred tent that had been destroyed and an overturned charcoal grill. Decedent is presumed to be homeless due to the tent that was set up. Items near and under the remains were charred. There was a brush fire reported in the area in May 2020, but its relation to this case is unknown.
