He was spotted at around 10:30 p.m. by a sheriff’s deputy near Palm Coast Parkway and Belle Terre, but after that, he was never heard from again. Bauernfeind frequently visited his family in Palm Coast and was known to spend time in wooded areas along Palm Coast Parkway and Daytona Beach. The last time his family saw him was on January 24, 2019.
