Kevin Eugene Payne, a 47-year-old man from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, was last seen on May 28, 2020. After reportedly heading to Daytona Beach, Payne vanished without a trace, and his whereabouts have remained unknown since. He was officially reported missing by a relative nearly a month later, on June 24, 2020. At the time of his disappearance, Payne was described as being approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 to 234 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt or tank top, blue denim shorts, black shoes, and a blue or black hat.
There have been several unconfirmed sightings of Payne in both the Daytona Beach and Edgewater areas after his disappearance, but none have provided concrete leads. His case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to seek any information that could help locate him. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
Despite ongoing efforts by law enforcement and the community, Payne's case highlights the difficulties of missing person investigations, especially when key details remain elusive.
