The decedent was a 30 to 35 year-old Hispanic male who appeared to be homeless in the rural area of Jamul. On the evening of 06/02/2021, the decedent was riding his bicycle down hill in a southern direction on Monterey Crest Drive. Witnesses saw the decedent attempted to stop, but continued to travel into the intersection of Lyons Valley Road.
