David Ruiz, age 48, was last in contact with his family on October 1, 2018. During a phone call, he mentioned being in Los Angeles but appeared disoriented and unable to recall his exact location. He indicated he needed his birth certificate and money but never collected them. Ruiz, known to be unhoused at the time, has not been seen or heard from since that phone call.
