On December 26, 1983, the remains of the decedent were discovered by hunters in a wooded area off of Interstate 95 . Based on forensic anthropological analysis of remains, the decedent is estimated to be a 4-6 year old female of mixed African American and European ancestry. Assuming the year of death was 1983, an individual aged 4-6 years at death would have been born between 1977 and 1979.
