On the evening of July 18, 1971, the Wayne Co Sheriff's Office received a report of a body on fire on an unpaved road off Hwy 581 two miles from the O'Berry Youth Center. The body was of a white male, 5'11", approximately 200 lb. The unidentified male had no natural teeth, and the postmortem prints were unidentifiable because of the fire. The male was wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre gold watch.
