On February 20, 2021, a concerned individual reported a suspicious situation to Crimestoppers involving a strong odor coming from a blue van parked in the 3800 block of Herman Avenue in San Diego, California. Responding to the report, police officers arrived at the location to discover a male decedent inside the vehicle. The body displayed clear signs of postmortem changes, and death was subsequently confirmed at the scene.
