Lakendric Cortez Francis, a 16-year-old from Canton, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on April 24, 2021, in a shooting incident on Interstate 55 in Ridgeland. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when Francis was driving a black four-door Infiniti sedan southbound on I-55.
